Blue Door on Baltimore is a property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. A relaxed attitude is an important attribute of the Blue Door on Baltimore. Our Policies hopefully reflect this.

Check-in - Check-out:

  • A credit card is required to guarantee your stay; not charged until time of arrival.
  • Check-in:  Our General Check-in time is between 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Check-in’s after 10:00 PM are discouraged.
  • Arrival Time: We require an approximate arrival time at the time of your reservation to best serve you.  Pre-arranged early arrivals with bag drop-off and preliminary check-in are welcomed.
  • Late Arrival: Please contact us if your arrival will later than first indicated.
  • Check-out:  11:00 AM.
  • We wish to allow our guests the most flexibility in their departure plans to minimize the chance of missed transportation or being late for an appointment. Your entire scheduled stay will be billed upon arrival.

 

Deposits - Cancellations:

  • Deposits are required for stays over 7 days and special events for a value up to one-half of the number of days planned for your stay.
  • We understand travel plans can change and cancellations may be necessary. Our intimate size and experience are affected by these events, often not allowing us to serve another guest. Cancellations are subject to a $30 service fee per each room night reserved (Plus Tax).
  • Reservations cancelled less than (10) days prior to the arrival date are also subject to charges equal to a one-night stay and/or a supplied deposit.
  • Cancellations and time remaining on abbreviated stays can optionally be converted to a gift certificate for use at a later time upon request. (with exceptions for business travel).
  • Reservation follow-up will be done mainly through the email addresses provided unless otherwise requested to ensure your privacy.

 

House Considerations:

  • All Blue Door on Baltimore rooms are nonsmoking.  There is an outdoor designated area for smoking. A $250 cleaning recovery charge where smoking is found in the room.
  • Sorry No Pets- we have a Cat on site who would love to meet you with your permission, another animal on-site does not allow the innkeepers a good night’s rest. If you are traveling with a pet we do have arrangements with a local boarding facility, less than five minutes away.
  • Our community has ample street parking for our guests. There is some limited private parking available which can be assigned to accommodate late-night arrivals and special needs.
  • Circumstances in managing our building may make us unable to ensure your initial room selection. We ask for your understanding and will communicate any need for a room selection change in advance of your arrival.
  • Children are welcome but those less than 10 years of age may like the amenities of a larger facility.
