There are so many things to do year-round in Baltimore that you will likely come back again to see something you will have missed. Be it a museum, art, a park, great dining, shopping, festivals, tours, sports, or a concert you can “Get in on it” in Baltimore. Whatever you choose, we are centrally located and minutes from most of them.
Here are just a few suggestions:
- Near and dear to us are the events around our Historic Butchers Hill area. The Blue Door was a participant in the Historic Home Tour on October 14, 2007. Visiting Baltimore in October is a perfect time, call in advance and reserve a place to stay for this year’s event.
- Many Baltimore weekend festival events are held in Patterson Park, three blocks from the Blue Door on Baltimore.
- Visiting one of our neighbors? Please let us know and we will help make your time with them extra special.
- Interested in the Inner Harbor and don’t want to drive? We are eight blocks from the Fells Point - Chester Street Water Taxi stop. Ride all day for a fare of $8.00 per person, $4.00 for children.
- While in Fells Point, how about a Historical Ghost Tour?
- Wishing to reach our nation’s capital? You can get to Washington DC using MTA’s light rail system.
- Check out the Baltimore Convention and Visitors Center for activities scheduled during your stay.
- Need some help for a specific date? Give us a call with your preferences and we will help you build an itinerary.
